Yink Ludd

With that said, Yink Ludd is generally (note I said GENERALLY. See above eyeballs comment.) an affectionate sort of character. Affectionate meaning she won't normally physically harm most people, except in a psychologically terrorizing you for most of your childhood sort of way. If you are deserving of physical harm in her eyes however, especially if you are cruel to animals or very greedy, she might become a tad bit more dangerous to you. As a poltergeist, fear and surprise of others is her main food source. So actually killing her household dwellers would be detrimental. Writing terrifying things in the shower fog on the mirror, kneeling on your chest and grinning, silently standing in your half opened closet at 3 in the morning, or just making the clock tick too uncomfortably loud during a dead silence, is more her style. If Ludd's little boogeyman ruse is ever seen through however by a human child, she never feels resentment towards them, in fact she admires it, and merely continues to either harass the adults of the household (to whom she is always invisible), or just move casually onward to the next house. Although Yink Ludd does not have traditional eyeballs, she isn't blind. (Don't enquire of her where her real eyeballs are though, as she'll only move on to the next subject or just laugh at you quietly. We just don't ask.)

I'd likely see her sounding kind of like a more female version of Sterling Holloway. If she were ever voice acted though, she would need no lip-synch, as her lips never move, her mouth is always frozen in that smile, no matter what mood she's in.

This is not based on one of my personal boogeymen. She is too cute! ^^ Any one of THOSE guys would break your sad little minds. She is if you would believe it actually based on one of my favorite hand-me-downs.
